01. In your culture, what do people often do to show their hospitality? Why?

Its really difficult for me to summarise what people like to do to be hospitable. However, I can list some examples to explain it. While being visited at home, people in my country usually treat visitors to a meal surely a fancy dinner. In different regions, people eat different kinds of food. Nonetheless, they drink the same spirit. The more they drink, the more hospitable they are. When people have dinner with their friends in a restaurant, the way to show their hospitality is a little odd. Everyone will be scrambling for paying the bill. It might be rare in other cultures but in my culture, it happens every day. The one who finally pays the bill will feel quite happy to show his/her passion as if he/she just won a war.

02. When you need some help, who is always the first person you like to get help from? Why?

Before I entered my college, the first person who I liked to get help from was my father. At that time, I lived with my parents, and I have to admit that I had too muchreliance on them. However, after I left my hometown to be a college student, I began to be more independent. When Im facing problems, I usually try my best to work them out by myself. Only when I have to get help from others, will I turn to my friends instead of my parents. They are getting old now and they should enjoy their retired life without worrying about me too much.

03. In the society, are there some people who do not like helping others especially strangers? Why?

Yes, there are. From my point of view, they must be cold-hearted and haggle over every ounce. For them, helping others is a kind of investment. What I mean is they might help their friends, with hoping that one day their friends will help them in return. This kind of thought is quite common and understandable in some cultures. Some people do nothing unprofitable. Thats why they wont help strangers. They become quite indifferent to strangers. Actually, what they ignore is the happiness that they can gain from helping others. In fact, that kind of ha appiness both valuable and pleasant.

04. Should children be taught to help others?

Undoubtedly yes. Peoples willingness of helping others is the basic condition for teamwork. Without it, people cant be active team members. To some extent, everyone in our society is a team member in various kinds of teams. Thus, schoolchildren should be taught how to help others. To educate schoolchildren to be active and useful social members is one of the current educational purposes. By helping others those students become warm-hearted and magnanimous. As a result, some good personalities will be formed. Without the willingness of being obliging,those children cant integrate themselves into the society. Therefore, teaching them to help others is as important as teaching them academic knowledge.
