澳大利亞大部分學(xué)校都開(kāi)設(shè)社會(huì)學(xué)專(zhuān)業(yè)，包括八大名校的澳國(guó)立大學(xué)、悉尼大學(xué)、墨爾本大學(xué)、新南威爾士大學(xué)等，其中以澳國(guó)立大學(xué)的社科類(lèi)最為強(qiáng)勢(shì)，位列全世界前20名。根據(jù)官方數(shù)據(jù)分析顯示，澳洲社會(huì)科學(xué)專(zhuān)業(yè)畢業(yè)生比起學(xué)習(xí)人文或科學(xué)的學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)更容易找到工作。同時(shí)，也更易進(jìn)入管理層或擔(dān)任高階職位。而且與科學(xué)或人文背景的學(xué)生相比，社科類(lèi)畢業(yè)生往往更少進(jìn)行深造。
